Martha J. and LaSalle D. Leffall, Sr. Endowed Scholarship

Dr. LaSalle D. Leffall, Jr., the Charles R. Drew Professor of Surgery, Howard University in 1997 established this scholarship in honor of his parents. This is a need-based scholarship to assist full-time, degree-seeking, undergraduate students. Recipients must be a U. S. Citizen, a Florida resident preferably from Gadsen County.
If the student is currently enrolled, they must be making reasonable progress toward graduation and be in good standing with the university. If the student is an entering freshman, they must be accepted to the university and cleared for enrollment. All applicant must have completed at least 10 hours of community/volunteer services during the current year. This award in not renewable.
