Verian Dorothy Cort Thomas Scholarship

This scholarship was established to support College of Agricultural and Food Science students that demonstrate financial need. The applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.0, a SAT score of 1000 or greater and an ACT score of 22 or greater. The applicant must provide two (2) signed letters of recommendation from an instructor or an academic advisor and a personal statement outlining why they choose Food Science as a major and express how the funding will benefit the student academic career. There is also a service requirement for this scholarship where the applicant must be an active member of the Food Science Club and the FAMU Chapter of MANRRS *OR serve as a mentor to the Jr. MANRRS students.
