Sara Simmons Endowed Scholarship

The Sara Simmons Endowed Scholarship was established by friends and family of the late Sara Simmons. Ms. Simmons was a true pioneer, having blazed the management trail for women and minorities at Eastern Airlines for 22 years and unselfishly serving her community throughout her life. Earning a law degree at age 50, Ms. Simmons quickly earned the respect of esteemed colleagues in the legal profession and community at-large. This $1,500.00, non-renewable scholarship will be awarded to one female student returning to school and enrolling in a law school after a previous career. There is no academic requirement for this scholarship.
