Melvene Draheim Hardee Endowed Scholarship

The Melvene D. Hardee Endowed Scholarship is for full-time undergraduate students majoring in Education. Students must be admitted to the Teacher Education Program. Students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.50 and a major field of study GPA of 3.00 or above. Students must submit an essay answering the questions: “What is my primary goal in life and why am I a candidate for this scholarship?” Students may be interviewed by the scholarship committee. Students must be active members in a professional education organization. There must be documented evidence of financial need. Students should have cleared a Level II background check.
