Horace W Lewis Scholarship Endowment

Mrs. Evelyn J. Lewis established this scholarship in 1996 in honor of her late husband Rev. Lewis who was a 1933 graduate of Florida A&M College. He taught Mathematics and served as Athletic Director and other responsibilities at Dillard for 35 years. This scholarship is for This scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students in the College of Science and Technology students who have obtained a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. Applicant must be a junior or senior who graduated from Dillard High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida pursuing majors in mathematics or the science disciplines. Three (3) letters of recommendation (two must be
from FAMU faculty members in the applicant’s major), an essay, and a résumé are required.
