Thank you for visiting Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University Foundation’s scholarship portal where searching and applying for scholarships is as easy as 1-2-3!

To be considered for any scholarship, you MUST meet the following criteria:
1. Be a FAMU student preferably with full-time enrollment status.
2. Complete the Free Application for Federal Aid (FAFSA) and have on file with the university. (No FAFSA required for International students)

Note to Incoming and Transfer Students: Our scholarships portal is for enrolled students at FAMU, not new Admits. If you are an incoming or transfer student, you will not be able to apply until the third week of you first semester.

Get started on your scholarship search now!
1. Sign In on to the portal with your FAMU email and password.

2. Complete the General Application and any supplemental applications presented. You are automatically matched with scholarship opportunities for which you meet the criteria, and the portal provides additional “recommended” scholarships that may be available to you.
a. Be sure to upload your personal statement. Many scholarships require this.
b. Upload and complete any additional information even if it is not required. This may be the difference in you being selected and someone else.
c. Proof read your submission and read them to someone else. Get help if needed. This is how we ‘meet’ applicants.

3. After you complete the application(s), you are done! You will receive any award notifications or regret emails via your campus email address. You can also check on the status of your application by logging back into the system at any time.

Be sure to check your email for new opportunities that may not have been posted to the portal when you applied. You may qualify for opportunities throughout the year and the best way for us to communicate with you is through your FAMU email.
