Dow Corporate Scholars

The Dow Corporate Scholars Program was designed to provide scholarship opportunities to undergraduate minority students pursuing a degree in engineering. Selected recipients must be a US citizen, US National, US permanent resident or an individual granted deferred action status under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Program (DACA) at the time of application. Students selected must also be enrolled as a full-time student at FAMU and majoring in one of the following:
Chemical Engineering
Civil Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Industrial Engineering
Mechanical Engineering

Additional requirements for recipients are:
To be in good academic standing within the College of Engineering with a minimum of 2.7 cumulative GPA
Classification of sophomore, junior, or senior
Submission of a short statement (250 words or less) on the intention to use their engineering degree to contribute to a more inclusive, innovative, and sustainable world, and
Demonstrate financial need according to the FAFSA or SAR
