The Thomas Family Endowed Scholarship

The Thomas Family Scholarship is awarded annually by the University to support deserving students who demonstrate academic promise and personal resilience. This scholarship is specifically designed to assist first-generation college students and/or students with demonstrated financial need.

Each academic year, a minimum of two scholarships—one awarded to a female student and one to a male student—will be granted. Awards are $2,500 per recipient and may be used to cover tuition, books, and fees. The scholarship is renewable provided that recipients continue to meet the eligibility criteria outlined below.

Eligibility Requirements:

Must have out-of-state student status

Completion of at least one year of college coursework

Must be pursuing a degree in Business or Economics

Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher

Demonstrate the values of leadership, service, and tenacity

Must have first-generation college student status and/or demonstrated financial need
