Ron Smith Scholarships, Inc. was founded on May 22, 2024, in Orlando FL. It is a 501©(3) nonprofit that awards scholarships to undergraduate seniors and final year graduate students enrolled at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). established in memory of Ronald Dean Smith, the scholarship honors his legacy of community service and dedication to education by providing financial assistance to deserving students who have an unmet financial need.
