The Aquatic Endowed Scholarship

With encouragement and guidance from the Director of the Aquatics Center and faculty member Jorge Olaves, numerous donors have made private contributions to establish a fund in the Foundation to be known as the Aquatic Scholarship Endowment Fund. The scholarship will be awarded to one student with 2.5 or better GPA in any major with a required minor/endorsement in aquatics. Preference shall be given to a student majoring in Health, Leisure and Fitness Studies with a concentration in aquatics at the freshmen, sophomore, junior or senior level. The scholarship is renewable subject to the satisfaction of all criteria for the award.
